Meeting. Mary & Mercy’s Adventure in Uganda with Love Mercy

Love Mercy is a charity that helps lift women in Northern Uganda out of Poverty. When the women are helped to grow seeds and provide for their families it has an incredible effect of lifting not only the women, but their families and villages out of poverty.

From Guns to Grace

Come and hear the inspiring story of how a young Ugandan boy aged 11 was kidnapped by the Lord’s Resistance Army (LRA) to be a child soldier in the late 80s and after escaping with some friends went on to run in the Olympics.

Then in his 30’s he set up the Charity ‘Love Mercy’ which helps to lift women in Northern Uganda out of poverty.

Mercy, my daughter, and I went to Uganda to see the work of ‘Love Mercy’ after the initiative that her company, Ancient and Brave, took on to support the work that ‘Love Mercy’ are doing.
