YWI Dormansland

The Story of YWI Dormansland

The group was founded in 2011 and the first meeting was so popular that we moved to a larger meeting hall.

Throughout the last ten years every effort has been made to offer a varied meeting schedule with something of interest to all members. We get involved in the annual village carnival and hosted a Royal Wedding street party in May 2011! We have also provided cheerful displays in the village during the pandemic months of 2020/21.

Where and When we Meet

We meet in the Parish Room in The Platt, Dormansland. See the footer below for the full address & a map. Any change of venue will be advised ahead of time by email & on website event.

All WIs are committee run. Our committee is elected each October for the coming year. Regulrar changes to the committee ensure fresh ideas and allow the group to thrive.
